Director Steve Reynolds

Since 2009, Owner Steve Reynolds created Most Known Unknown (MKU) Athletics to be utilized as an innovative and traditional approach to improve the academic and athletic performance of local student-athletes. MKU develops and maintains a relationship with its student-athletes throughout their student athlete career, while providing athletic training, academic tutoring, career assessments, college tours, and mentoring. “MKU was created to help parents assist their children in reaching their goals, pursuing their passion, and better navigating the college application and recruiting process,” explained MKU CEO and Founder Steve Reynolds. “I played sports in high school and college, and although while in high school, I was known in the area, I was unknown throughout the country, which is what inspired me to help our players to become known.”

Mission Statement

MKU ELITE LADY BASKETBALL was founded to provide positive alternative basketball programs for girls. Our program focuses on integrity, credible sports education, and commitment to results that exceed expectations, and the belief that girls need more exposure and opportunities to take their game to the next level.

We use the MKU acronym for Most Known UnKnown because all of players are some of the best Youth/HS basketball players in their respective area/community within North East OH along with surrounding states and cities; that decided to comes together to compete on an Elite stage to “Become Known” to college scouts now rather than later in High School. We will participate on a fall league, and enter into qualifying events for Ladies Ball and National Championships and also competitive leagues and tournaments. We will also seek to play against teams in the Nike EYBL, Select 40 Tournaments, AAU State/National Championships. We are always exploring additional options for additional opportunities for high level competition

The Collective consist of some of your top youth programs in the state Ohio and Kentucky. We fall under the umbrella of Sports City Angels which is a shoe circuit High School organization affiliated with the NIKE Brand better know as the EYBL.
